The Public Relations and Communication department (PR/Communication) is responsible for providing the public with reliable information that involves the Sint Maarten Police Force. The PR/Communication department provides information by means of several communication tools:

Press releases

Press releases are sent out to traditional and digital media on a daily basis. The press releases are also posted on this website. There is also a Facebook page which is: Police Force of Sint Maarten. On “liking” us, readers are kept up to date and furthermore informed about Sint Maarten Police Force in their newsfeed.

Informative role

The Communication department exists to support the entire police force. Not only by external communication but also internally. Colleagues are informed as much as possible through our Intranet and Group Alert messages, via e-mail and whatsapp.

(School) Presentations

The PR/Communication department holds many (school) presentations to highlight the police and to familiarise the public with the varied work that police officers perform.

Services
